InterValue v2.0 testnet launch - First global recruitment of local full node and light node alpha test

BEIJING, China, June 29, 2018 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- InterValue, a highly practical decentralized distributed application development platform and the world's first Blockchain 4.0 project built to support the large-scale deployment of applications, will unveil its plan for the global recruitment of local full node and light node on July 5, 2018, initiating the first wave of nodes recruitment for the alpha test.

The recruitment will start on July 5, 2018, and end on July 20, 2018. Participants who contribute to the test will receive a compensation in form of INVE tokens following the completion of the test (please visit InterValue's official website for more details: http://www.inve.one).

 

InterValue aims to build a generic, multifunctional, high performance, easy to use, strong user experience and scalable infrastructure for Blockchain 4.0 era and develop the underlying ecosystem that will support applications of all kinds.

 

At the beginning of May 2018, the project released the InterValue v1.0 testnet to the public after it was successfully tested internally during Q1. A large number of community members downloaded and experimented it. Feedbacks were very positive and testers expressed their confidence and enthusiasm about the product performance.

 

This time, InterValue will release its v2.0 testnet, as initially planned in the roadmap. This version will feature the newly designed HashNet consensus mechanism.

 

HashNet is an ultra-high performance two-layer sharding consensus mechanism featuring full node, local full node, and light node. Full node is mainly in charge of establishing and reorganizing shards within the lower-layer, adding new local full node and removing the old ones, without participating in local full node consensus.

 

Local full node form various shards. Each shard performs internal transactions and achieves a consensus. Light node is wallet clients, and every user can use them to perform a transaction.

 

Through InterValue v2.0 testnet launch, the team hopes to attract communities and professional organizations from all over the world, get them to participate in the establishment of a community and contribute to the development of InterValue's global ecosystem.   6. Applicants who successfully passed need to activate their local full node and ensure that it operates normally before July 25th, 00:00:00 (GMT+8)
  7. The maximum number of applications for local full node testing is limited to 2,000.
