The award is in recognition of the Company’s design of the architectural media lighting platforms for the iconic Wilshire Grand Center located in Downtown Los Angeles.

The Lumen West Awards publicly recognize lighting design members of the Illuminating Engineering Society (IES), Los Angeles Section, whose exceptional professionalism, ingenuity and originality in lighting design has culminated in some of the world’s most innovative lighting projects. The Lumen Award of Excellence is the highest level of recognition for permanent architectural application.

IES Award of Excellence recipients at the local level are eligible for consideration at the IES 2018 Annual Conference Illumination Awards Gala, which will be held on August 9, 2018 at the Westin Boston Waterfront Hotel.

StandardVision consulted with AC Martin and subcontracted with Turner Construction to design, manufacture and install all integrated LED media displays, narrative LED lighting and the programmatic “brain” that controls all lighting content throughout the Wilshire Grand Center’s façade.
