Blaze Fast-Fire’d Pizza Launches House-made Dough Knots™

New Culinary Twist on Traditional Breadsticks Debuts at Restaurants Systemwide


LOS ANGELES, July 02, 2018 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Blaze Fast-Fire’d Pizza announced today the launch of its first shareable side item, Dough Knots™.  Developed by Executive Chef Bradford Kent and leveraging his signature, light-as air-dough recipe, Dough Knots™ are a modern twist on traditional breadsticks.  Team members hand stretch the fresh, never frozen dough, filling each with mozzarella, garlic and pesto before baking in the restaurant’s blazing-hot oven to melty perfection. Each order of Dough Knots™ is baked-to-order and served with a side of Blaze’s own red sauce for dipping.

Available at all 270+ locations across the United States and Canada, Dough Knots™ are offered in orders of two or four. All participating U.S. locations are offering Dough Knots™ at $1.95 for 2 and $2.95 for 4, making for an inexpensive meal add-on. Pricing and availability may vary at nontraditional locations.

In support of the product launch, Blaze is giving away over 2 million Dough Knots™ to its fans. Guests who are enrolled in Blaze’s loyalty programs – the Blaze Pizza mobile app or email – will receive a reward for two free Dough Knots™ with the purchase of any pizza.

To turn up the heat even further on the launch of the company’s first shareable side item, Blaze is running a social media contest where guests have the chance to win free Dough Knots™ for a year. From July 9-15, fans who post a picture of their Dough Knots™ using the hashtag #WhyKnotBlazeContest and tag @BlazePizza will be entered. The fan with the most retweets – wins. The second and third prize winners will also win free Dough Knots™ for a month.
