IRVINE, Calif., July 10, 2018 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Sperry Commercial Global Affiliates today announced that The Villa Nueva Group—a commercial real estate brokerage firm based in San Jose, California—has joined as an affiliate to lead the company’s expansion in the San Francisco Bay area and Silicon Valley. Led by Managing Director Joseph Villanueva, The Villa Nueva Group specializes in industrial, office, retail, and multi-family properties.

Villanueva will focus on sales and leasing efforts with Sperry. He will be primarily responsible for the integration of all services for SperryCGA clients by utilizing resources within the SperryCGA platform to assist clients with their real estate portfolios.
Villanueva began his real estate career in 2003 as a realtor and property manager. In 2007, he became a portfolio asset manager for two of the San Francisco Bay area’s largest real estate developers of multi-family and mixed-use properties. He then founded the V-Commercial Group in 2012, a full-service brokerage company specializing in sales, leasing, and asset/property management of industrial, office, retail, medical, land, and multi-family properties. In 2018, V-Commercial Group became The Villa Nueva Group and strategically aligned with Sperry Commercial Global Affiliates to lead the Northern California and San Francisco Bay/Silicon Valley region.
Villanueva is a member of several boards including the CCIM Institute, International Council of Shopping Centers, Institute of Real Estate Management, and the Commercial Brokers Association of California. He is currently a candidate for the CCIM and CPM certifications. Villanueva holds a Bachelor of Arts from Ashford University’s Forbes School of Business and Technology in California.
