Wesco Aircraft Renews Multi-Year Agreement with BAE Systems


VALENCIA, Calif., July 16, 2018 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Wesco Aircraft Holdings, Inc. (NYSE:WAIR), one of the world’s leading distributors and providers of comprehensive supply chain management services to the global aerospace industry, today announced the renewal of an agreement with BAE Systems plc, a British multinational defense, security and aerospace company.

The multi-year agreement renews Wesco’s existing contract to provide hardware and chemical management services to support production of the aft fuselage and vertical and horizontal tails of the F-35 Joint Strike Fighter aircraft and delivers a substantially increased portfolio of products. The renewal also continues Wesco’s strong partnership with BAE Systems.

Under separate long-term agreements with BAE Systems, Wesco also provides integrated supply chain solutions for aerospace hardware, chemical and custom parts products through just-in-time delivery, chemical management services and kitting services to multiple global sites in support of both Eurofighter Typhoon and Hawk production and in-service programs.
