FedResults Awarded U.S. Department of Defense Blanket Purchase Agreement for CA Technologies Software and Services

Provides All Federal and DoD Agencies With Streamlined Access to Solutions Through FedResults and Reseller Partners

HERNDON, Va., July 25, 2018 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- FedResults®, a government-focused IT provider, today announced that the U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) has awarded FedResults an enterprise-wide blanket purchasing agreement (BPA) through the U.S. military’s Enterprise Software Initiative (ESI). Under the agreement, FedResults and its reseller partners will distribute software and services from CA Technologies to all federal and defense agencies.

The five-year BPA is open for ordering by the DoD and federal agencies on a world-wide basis and provides CA Technologies software, licenses, maintenance and training across the federal government and DoD, Intelligence Communities and Coast Guard activities. The agreement is effective through March 29, 2023 and carries a ceiling amount of $60M.

FedResults will support the blanket purchase agreement award by leveraging its partner enablement, sales, marketing and contract management capabilities. In addition to other activities, the company will provide a dedicated web resource for contract updates and other relevant information.

“The needs of our government customers and reseller partners are constantly changing inside and outside of the defense department,” said Brian Snell, Director of FedResults. “Through this BPA, we hope to lower the administrative costs of acquiring products and services and provide streamlined access to a wide portfolio of CA Technologies solutions as agency missions evolve and challenges arise.”

Through the BPA, CA Technologies’ software and services are available to all authorized agencies under four sections: software maintenance, enterprise software, security software, and services and education. Included in these offerings are products that address mainframe maintenance, API management, infrastructure management, application management, identity management and mainframe security. All listed products and services are available through the BPA at a discounted rate from FedResults’ GSA Schedule pricing for CA Technologies offerings.

“CA Technologies is committed to enabling the diverse missions of federal agencies across both civilian and defense sectors,” said Roy Borden, Vice President of Partner Sales at CA Technologies. “This BPA lowers the administrative and budgetary barriers to procurement and increases access to our cutting-edge solutions across the federal government.”

DoD ESI is an official initiative sponsored by the DoD Chief Information Officer (CIO) to lead in the establishment and management of enterprise Commercial Off-The-Shelf (COTS) IT agreements, assets and policies. DoD ESI lowers the total cost of ownership across the DoD, Coast Guard and Intelligence Communities for commercial software, IT hardware and services.

Through a Contract Teaming Arrangement, CA Technologies solutions are immediately available for purchase under a single blanket purchase agreement through FedResults’ GSA Schedule No. GS-35F-0256K and Carahsoft Technology Corp.’s GSA Schedule No. GS-35F-0119Y.
