Insight Adds Cohesity to OneCall Support and Managed Services Offerings

Provides monitoring and problem resolution for Cohesity’s hyperconverged secondary storage solution

TEMPE, Ariz., Sept. 05, 2018 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Insight’s Cloud & Data Center Transformation (CDCT) division, Datalink, today announced the addition of Cohesity’s hyperconverged secondary storage solution to the technologies that can be managed with its OneCall Support and Managed Services offerings.

The new option provides Insight clients with a dedicated team to accelerate Cohesity-related issue resolution and conduct day-to-day monitoring and reporting, either a la carte or in conjunction with other storage, compute and/or networking technologies used in their data centers.

Insight added Cohesity to its suite of technical support and managed services offerings because of the market demand for robust data protection capabilities across both on- and off-premises environments. With Cohesity’s broad range of data sources as well as file system capabilities that interact with virtually every component of the IT infrastructure, Insight’s expertise across all data center technologies both inside and outside the enterprise can expedite root cause analysis for Cohesity users while also helping optimize their use of the Cohesity DataPlatform.

“IT teams today are stretched thin because of complex hybrid IT environments and demands for innovation to support the business. As a result, IT leaders are increasingly turning to services providers like Insight to assume responsibility for day-to-day support and IT operations management in order to free their teams to work on strategic business initiatives,” said Shawn O’Grady, senior vice president and general manager, Cloud and Data Center Transformation, Insight.

“The addition of Cohesity to our support and managed services portfolio reflects our continued focus on helping clients capitalize on market innovations to drive intended business outcomes. OneCall Support ensures that clients who have integrated Cohesity into their operations run at peak efficiency without sacrificing downtime,” said O’Grady.

Todd Palmer, vice president of worldwide channels, Cohesity, said: “Insight and Cohesity share a common goal, and that is to simplify IT operations. Cohesity’s technology consolidates complex legacy infrastructure onto a single platform that empowers organizations to easily protect, access and control their data across clouds, data centers and remote offices. Insight gives customers a reliable option for outsourcing oversight of our platform, ensuring that all of the moving parts work together while contributing to the overall efficiency of their IT organization.”

Insight CDCT services are provided by more than 700 architects, engineers and consultants with deep expertise across server, storage and network technologies. The team’s OneCall Support and Managed Services specialists streamline incident resolution as well as optimize management and performance across on- and off-premises environments.
