Ninja Nation Brings State of the Art Obstacle Course Arena to Frisco

Grand Opening and Ninja Showcase on October 13, 2018

FRISCO, Texas, Sept. 11, 2018 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Ninja Nation, America’s leader in world class obstacle course arenas, announces the opening of its third U.S. location and its first location in Texas on Saturday, October 13th, 2018. The signature Grand Opening celebration will feature a Ninja Showcase of the top Ninja athletes from around the country.

The 17,000 square foot facility at 7140 Dena Drive in Frisco will bring a professional and high energy American Ninja Warrior™ experience to life with state-of-the-art equipment and developmental programming that will empower everyone to push their minds and bodies to limits they never thought possible!

Ninja Nation Founder, Wayne Cavanaugh, is thrilled to open the first Texas arena in Frisco. He knows fellow ninjas, super hero kids and adults looking for a new challenge will be blown away by the experience.

“When looking for our next location, we sought out a sports-centric town with a fiercely competitive spirit and true sense of community,” said Wayne Cavanaugh, CEO of Ninja Nation. “Frisco offers all of that and so much more. We can’t wait to be an integral member of this vibrant and dynamic community.”

American Ninja Warrior™ star and veteran, Karsten Williams, is the Market Director of North Texas for Ninja Nation. He joins many other top ninja athletes on the Ninja Nation team, including Geoff Britten, Jamie Rahn, Brian Arnold and Ryan Stratis.

“Being a part of the Ninja Nation family means the world to me,” said Karsten Williams, North Dallas Market Director for Ninja Nation. “For years I've wanted to lead and direct a ninja facility that would make a positive impact on kids and communities. There's nothing more fulfilling than seeing someone overcome an obstacle on the course, while gaining the strength and confidence to overcome life's obstacles as well.”

Ninja Nation is thrilled to have Texas native and former Plano West volleyball coach, Brittany Bridge Rodriguez, join the team as arena manager. Bridge Rodriguez was one of the most successful volleyball coaches in the state and now brings her leadership and passion for coaching and teaching to Ninja Nation.

“As a former teacher, I love what Ninja Nation is doing to teach kids persistence, confidence and community,” said Brittany Bridge Rodriguez, arena manager at Ninja Nation Frisco.

Ninja Nation offers monthly memberships, organized classes, open gym, events, competitions, birthday parties and even a mobile unit for obstacle courses anywhere. The inaugural location opened in Lafayette, CO in June 2018, and a second location opened in Centennial, CO in September.
