Blockchain, Teamwork, and the Secret Sauce of Success

C-Suite TV’s Executive Perspectives Live airs new episodes in September featuring Tim Wales, Mark Eaton and Keith Krach

NEW YORK, Sept. 11, 2018 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Executive Perspectives Live, one of the top online business shows on C-Suite TV, is announcing new episodes for the month of September. The episodes feature Tim Wales, CEO and Co-Founder, Kadima.Ventures, Mark Eaton, CEO, 7ft4.com and Keith Krach, Chairman of the Board and former CEO, DocuSign.

Host Jeffrey Hayzlett talked to Tim Wales about how blockchain technology is impacting the future of multiple industries that are ripe for disruption, like the legal industry, healthcare or even voting. Wales says that blockchain would eliminate corruption and fraud while alleviating the confusion that surrounds the voting process. While many have come to have a working understanding of what blockchain technology does and what cryptocurrencies are out there, one big misconception remains – they’re not one in the same. Wales explains that cryptocurrency is simply “the transaction and the cash. Blockchain is the ledger keeping track of the cash.” He adds, “Bitcoin is an application running on top of blockchain.” He also rebukes those in the tech space not paying attention to ICOs (Initial Coin Offerings) as they are capable of raising millions of dollars in a short amount of time with only a white paper.

Mark Eaton, CEO of 7ft4.com, talked to Hayzlett about the basketball lessons he learned during his 12-year NBA career and how those experiences translate to the business world. Eaton stated that employees need to “know their job” and “play their position.” He adds that people sometimes don’t know what their jobs entail, yet they’re too intimidated to ask for specifics. In addition of being a stellar athlete, he is also a speaker and businessman who coaches companies and the biggest challenge he has seen through many companies is internal competition. When each player, or employee, understands what their job is, they understand their role within the company and this helps form a more cohesive unit. One of the hardest things in basketball, Eaton says, is “getting five guys to go in the same direction at the same time.” However, as long as the team is winning, everything is better.

Keith Krach has amassed together a long line of highly successful ventures and as Chairman of the Board and former CEO of DocuSign, his winning streak continues. He helped spearhead the transformation of DocuSign from an eSignature company into a Digital Transformation Management (DTM) company. Since becoming the youngest Vice-President at GM at age 26, Krach has had the finger of the pulse of the next big thing. He says that the objective of the game is being the category king, adding, “Why create a product when you can create a category?” Krach attributes his success to surrounding himself people with different talents, temperaments, and convictions – all amounting to diversity of thought, which is the catalyst for genius. All that blends, he says, into transformational leadership 101: people support what they help create. Those tenets have made his success seem easy, but Krach says it’s not that easy. He adds, “What matters the most is what you do when no one is looking.”

All episodes of Executive Perspectives Live are hosted by Jeffrey Hayzlett and can be seen throughout the month on C-Suite TV.
