End-to-end 50/100/200/400G PAM-4 Portfolio Expands Bandwidth Capacity for Data Center and Cloud Infrastructure

(NASDAQ: AVGO), a leading designer, developer and global supplier of a broad range of digital and analog semiconductor connectivity solutions, today announced that it has shipped more than 1 million ports of PAM-4 PHYs to the wired infrastructure market, further extending its leadership position in the data center and cloud networking applications. With increased penetration of Broadcom’s high-density terabit LAN switches like the Tomahawk® 3 and Jericho™ 2, Broadcom is on pace to reach the 2 million PAM-4 PHY port shipment milestone by the end of 2018.
