Nasdaq Stockholm Welcomes Nordic Iron Ore to First North


Stockholm, October 1, 2018— Nasdaq (Nasdaq: NDAQ) announces that the trading in Nordic Iron Ore AB’s shares (short name: NIO) will commence today on Nasdaq First North in Stockholm. Nordic Iron Ore belongs to the basic materials sector and is the 60th company to be admitted to trading on Nasdaq’s Nordic markets* in 2018.

Nordic Iron Ore is a mining development company that aims to resume and develop iron ore production at the Ludvika Mines in Blötberget and Håksberg. In addition, the company aims to develop the intermediate Väsman iron field. The company has all the necessary permits in place for the mine in Blötberget, and will be able to produce iron ore of extremely high quality from significant mineral resources.
