Hustler Turf Equipment Launches Dash and Raptor SDX Zero-Turn Mowers at GIE+EXPO 2018

Company Also Announces Move Into New Category With Debut of Pressure Washers

LOUISVILLE, Ky., Oct. 17, 2018 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Hustler Turf Equipment, a leading manufacturer of premium commercial and residential turf equipment, today announced the official launch of two zero-turn mowers, the DASH and the Raptor SDX. The DASH brings legendary Hustler performance into a smaller model zero-turn mower for residential properties and the Raptor SDX is designed to tackle the toughest yards. Hustler’s latest mower innovations were on display alongside the company’s new line of pressure washers at the Green Industry and Equipment Expo in booth #5050. The DASH, Raptor SDX and pressure washers will be available for purchase through Hustler’s network of dealers beginning in November.

Built to Hustler’s high standards, the DASH is compact and ideal for the user looking to make the switch to a zero-turn mower. With its patented automatic park brake, foot operated deck lift and ability to easily fit through most gates, it is ideal for front and backyard mowing. Available in two welded, fabricated steel deck sizes – 34” or 42” – with a heavy-duty 1x2 fully tubular frame, the DASH is small enough for easy storage in a garage.

“We developed the DASH to meet the needs of consumers who want a quality and compact zero-turn mower for their yard at a great value,” said Adam Mullet, vice president of sales and new products. “The introduction of the DASH creates a new category of zero-turns aimed at helping home owners view mowing the lawn as a less daunting task.”

The Raptor SDX, the newest model in the popular Raptor line, is an aggressive residential mower with exclusive 22” big bite tires. Built to handle yards up to three acres in size, the Raptor SDX is equipped with luxury features, including Hustler’s SmoothTrak™ steering for responsive and precise control. It also boasts a patented automatic park brake, a premium, bolstered adjustable seat with internal suspension and a foot operated deck lift. The Raptor SDX is powered by a Kawasaki FR Series engine and is available in a 48”, 54” or 60” welded fabricated steel deck.

Long known for the innovation and quality craftsmanship of its zero turn mowers, Hustler is expanding its product line with the introduction of pressure washers, designed for dependability and durability. The recently launched line of five pressure washers, powered by Honda engines, offers a superior and time-saving cleaning experience. The pressure washer frames and tubing are engineered with lightweight, aircraft grade aluminum, resulting in a lighter machine. To complement the pressure washers, a variety of accessories are available for additional purchase, including but not limited to hoses, nozzles and scrubbers. Each powerful pressure washer is assembled with premium pneumatic tires featuring chevron treading.

“The introduction of pressure washers under the Hustler Turf brand helps signify our commitment to offering our dealers and consumers a full range of products with the reliability and innovation they demand,” said Mullet. “As Hustler continues to grow, we’re unwavering in our dedication to get dealers the products they need to be successful.”
