NEW YORK, Oct. 18, 2018 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Ikinari Steak will open its 10th location in Manhattan on Friday, October 19th at 295 Madison Avenue at 41st Street. In celebration of the grand opening, Ikinari Steak Madison will offer guests a special for lunch and dinner -- 10 ounces of Ribeye for $20. The opening of this location comes just days after the Japan-based steak restaurant celebrated its parent company listing on NASDAQ with an official bell ceremony. Ikinari Steak is part of Pepper Food Service Co, Ltd, the first Japanese restaurant group to be listed on NASDAQ.
Steps away from Grand Central Station, the new location will have 52 seats for steak lovers to enjoy Ikinari Steak’s “super thick” high-quality meats in a quick and economical fashion. Ikinari Steak recently upgraded all cuts to Certified Angus Beef at all Manhattan locations. Upon arrival, guests are shown to their seats at one of the counters where they order drinks and side dishes. At each station is a number which the diner then takes to the chef’s butcher station where they order their cut of meat, which is cooked on an open-fire, served with a daily vegetable, and presented sizzling on a cast-iron platter. Once prepared the steak is then brought to the guest. It is suggested to drizzle the Japanese soy-based signature steak sauce over the meat to heighten the flavor. This is what is called "J-STEAK" (Japanese style steak), a phrase coined by, and introduced to New York by Ikinari Steak.
Pepper Food Service Co., Ltd is a leading restaurant group from Tokyo and as of September 27th is listed on NASDAQ.
