World Wide Technology to Open Interactive Innovation Center in Washington, DC

New location to provide collaborative environment for government and industry

WASHINGTON, Nov. 01, 2018 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- World Wide Technology (WWT), a market-leading, technology solution provider, today announced that it will officially open its Washington, DC-based Innovation Center on November 8. The DC Innovation Center, located in the heart of the nation’s capital, will build on the company’s commitment to provide federal agencies the knowledge, speed, agility and independent viewpoint they need to make the most informed technology decisions while delivering transformational outcomes.

This 11,640-square-foot space blends modern accommodations with classic design and is equipped with the most advanced technologies. WWT can host executive briefings and ideation workshops as well as deliver innovative solution demonstrations, proofs of concept and product benchmarking initiatives. The DC-based Innovation Center will also have a virtual connection to WWT’s Advanced Technology Center (ATC) in St. Louis, extending the reach and core capabilities to advance the conceptualization and testing of new solutions geared for the federal government environment.

“When we first conceptualized the Innovation Center, we had three distinct goals in mind: inspire our customers, collaborate with our partners and empower our employees with the most advanced technology available today,” said Bryan Thomas, vice president of Public Sector at WWT. “I am proud to say that we have accomplished all three.  The Innovation Center will serve as a centerpiece for working collaboratively with our customers to help design, build and develop solutions unique to their specific IT challenges.  It also will allow us to forge even stronger partner relationships and serve as an incubator for our employees to continue to develop game-changing technology solutions.”

Since its inception, WWT has been committed to proving how advanced technology solutions can keep an agency running smoothly while delivering a return on investment. The DC Innovation Center meets the company’s larger objective of helping government agencies build, demonstrate and deploy integrated solutions that meet their mission-critical objectives.

WWT is hosting an open house on November 8 for members of the media and key industry leaders. If you are interested in touring the new facility, please contact Donna Armstrong at donna@connellyworks.com.
