Located in Central Oregon, the Indian Head Casino is a modern 40,000-square foot building housing 500 slot machines, blackjack tables and a top-notch restaurant. The contemporary Plateau Travel Plaza includes parking for up to 70 trucks, laundry facilities, fueling service, a 3,000-square foot convenience store, home style seated dining and 30 slot machines at the indoor casino.
ITConnect, a qualified network integrator of casino gaming and casino surveillance, worked with Indian Head Casino IT staff to research the differences between traditional switch-based copper LAN and the more progressive Tellabs® Optical LAN (OLAN). After a thorough investigation, all parties agreed with confidence to move forward at both Indian Head Casino and Plateau Travel Plaza with the OLAN design based on these four (4) unique differentiators:
