TOMBALL, Texas, Dec. 04, 2018 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Proximity Systems, Inc., the leading provider of innovative technology furniture solutions to healthcare, in partnership with ICWUSA, today announced the Proximity EXA-6200, a new cabinet design that incorporates an articulated arm that is ergonomically designed to improve the ability of hospital staff to interact with patients. The adjustable arm can be raised or lowered 16 inches to enable staff to work standing or sitting and swivels horizontally a full 180 degrees.
Proximity’s wall-mounted workstations, strategically placed in patient rooms, ER’s, ICU’s and other frequented areas, make sure data is always at caregivers’ fingertips. In-room cabinets and workstations save time and effort, allowing hospital staff to focus energy on what is important – providing the best care to their patients.
The new Proximity EXA-6200 offers:
Security – Includes key locking ability for CPU or Thin Client.
Customization – Comes in six standard color options, with or without UV-Clean or scanner bracket, and can easily be mounted with the articulating arm on either the right or left side of the cabinet.
Compact – Just 22 inches wide by 48 inches tall, the Proximity Open Arm Cabinet includes a small upper cabinet that is 5.25 inches deep for concealing a CPU and cables while keeping the range of motion needed for optimal patient interaction. Keep monitor, keyboard, and mouse stowed 10 inches from the wall, when not in use.
Clean -- Conceals all IT cables with cable management systems through the arms, joints and covered wall track.
