Wyoming State Bar partnering with Identillect Technologies as the official email security provider for the Wyoming lawyers

IRVINE, Calif., Dec. 05, 2018 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Identillect Technologies Corp. (the "Company" or "Identillect") (TSX-V: ID) (OTCQB: IDTLF) (Frankfurt: 8ID), a trusted leading provider of compliant email security, announces the Wyoming State Bar has selected Delivery Trust® as the preferred solution for bar members to meet and exceed the regulatory requirements to protect their member sensitive communications. Identillect has recently partnered with various state bar and legal associations providing the legal community the simplest and most secure way to communicate with clients and associates.

The Wyoming State Bar is the states integrated bar association, first organized in 1915 as a voluntary association and integrated by the state legislature in 1939. The mission of the Wyoming State Bar is to regulate the practice of law, facilitate the provision of quality legal services to the public, and assist attorneys in the professional practice of law. The Bar also takes pride in providing security education and digital communication tools which bar members have direct access to utilize. This has created the desire for a partnership with the legal cyber-security leader Identillect Technologies.

Weston Graham, President of the Wyoming State Bar, commented, “The Wyoming State Bar takes cyber-security protection for our members seriously, and we are excited about the partnership with Identillect, which provides a robust security platform for our members. Additionally, the cyber-security education about current threats and regulatory compliance that Identillect provides is essential to the advancement of our members. We believe Delivery Trust will be well received by our members.”

Identillect CEO Todd Sexton states, “Identillect is proud to be the security solutions provider for Wyoming State Bar. Wyoming State Bar is a valued partner and has a strong legal community that is taking cyber-security seriously. Identillect has taken a solid foothold with state bar associations across the country and we look forward to be a significant contributor to the ongoing benefits the Wyoming bar members have come to expect from the Bar.”

In a recent American Bar Association article, David Ries, a well-known lawyer and author on cyber-security stated, “Confidential data in computers and information systems, including those used by attorneys and law firms, faces greater security threats today than ever before—and they continue to grow! Security breaches are becoming so prevalent that there is a new mantra in cybersecurity today: “It’s when not if,” a law firm or other entity will suffer a breach.” In an ABA Tech Report 2017 article they highlighted that lawyers are being specifically targeted.

Cyber-security threats are increasing, 43% of cyber-attacks are aimed at small businesses due to the lack of security infrastructure. The damages cybercrimes create for a business has no end in sight, it is estimated businesses will incur more than $6 Trillion annually by 2021. The best way a business can combat being another statistic is through employee education and security protocols.
