Employers’ New Year Resolutions for 2019 are Building Candidate Pools and Improving Candidate Experience

iCIMS End-of-Year Client Survey Identifies Recruiters’ Priorities to Fill Growing Number of Open Positions


Holmdel, NJ, Dec. 21, 2018 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Building candidate pools, improving candidate experience and using data to know the most effective source of quality candidates are the top new year resolutions for recruiters in 2019, according to a survey of iCIMS clients, a leading provider of cloud-based talent acquisition solutions used by more than 4,000 companies to fill four million jobs a year. 

With the lowest unemployment rates in nearly 50 years, the survey revealed a shared view expressed by iCIMS clients about daunting challenges in 2019, epitomized by: “our central challenge in ’19 is to find candidates, because by 2020 there will be over a million nurse deficit in the US,” and “there are hundreds of thousands of job postings out there. How will ours stand out?!
