INFINITI Introduces Exclusive-to-Canada I-LINE Edition Models at the 2019 Montreal Auto Show

MONTREAL, Jan. 17, 2019 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Montreal auto show attendees will be the first to see new special edition models from INFINITI, equipped exclusively for Canada. This special edition is inspired by the high-performance capabilities of the INFINTI Q50 sedan and INFINITI Q60 coupe, and fittingly named “I-LINE” which stands for “Inspired Line.”

Both I-LINE models are based on the Red Sport versions of Q50 and Q60, offering INFINITI’s 3.0-litre V6 twin-turbo engine delivering 400 horsepower at 6,400 rpm and 350 lb-ft maximum torque at 1,600-5,200 rpm. I-LINE Editions will offer:

-  Blacked out INFINITI Sport Grille
-  19” custom imported glossy black finish 19-inch (Q50) and 20-inch (Q60) wheels
-  Carbon fibre rear deck lid spoiler
-  Unique I-LINE Badge

“We are delighted to showcase the I-LINE editions which have been created with a vision to be further developed into an INFINITI Canada sub-brand,” says Adam Paterson, managing director of INFINITI Canada. “We are building on the Q50 and Q60’s award-winning engine and engineering excellence, to add even more eminent style.”

INFINITI I-LINE Q50 and Q60 models will be available at Canadian dealerships in February 2019. Starting M.S.R.P.1 for the Q50 and Q60 I-LINE is as follows:

Q50 Red Sport I-LINE      $56,195

Q60 Red Sport I-LINE      $65,295

While INFINITI’s sedan and sport coupe take the spotlight in the Montreal booth, the all-new 2019 INFINITI QX50 crossover continues to shine for the brand. During the MIAS media preview, the Automobile Journalists Association of Canada (AJAC) crowned the QX50 as the best mid-size premium utility vehicle for 2019. Read more, here.
