Philippe Sasseigne appointed Senior Executive in charge of Nuclear and Thermal

Etienne Dutheil appointed Director of Nuclear Production

Jean-Bernard Lévy, EDF's CEO and Chairman, has appointed Philippe Sasseigne to the position of Senior Executive in charge of Nuclear and Thermal. He replaces Dominique Minière who wanted to take the opportunity to retire and pursue new international projects.

In addition, Etienne Dutheil, current Director of the Grand Carénage fleet upgrade programme, has been appointed Director of Nuclear Production, a position previously held by Philippe Sasseigne.

On this occasion, Jean-Bernard Lévy announced: "I know that all the EDF teams will join me in offering my warm thanks to Dominique, who has spent his whole career dedicated to our company. He is a real professional, whom we hold in the highest esteem and with whom I personally have really enjoyed working on reshaping the French nuclear industry and consolidating France's performance in terms of energy, the economy and climate mitigation. I have every confidence in Philippe and Etienne, whose careers, skills and human qualities are well known at EDF and beyond, to continue to achieve with determination the Group's strategic goals.

Dominique Minière added: "I am retiring with the belief that I have done my duty. I have really invested in preparing for the future of the existing nuclear plants, and uniting the industry in France. I have every confidence in the managers appointed to continue my work and in Philippe and Etienne in particular. I would like to thank Jean-Bernard Lévy for his unwavering support as well as for the faith he has shown in me ever since he came to the helm of the company."
