Discover New Innovations From Gaggenau During Design & Construction Week 2019

LAS VEGAS, Feb. 18, 2019 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Gaggenau, the luxury brand for professional-grade home appliances will unveil two unique spaces during Design & Construction Week 2019. Creating a tangible brand experience in Las Vegas, Gaggenau will participate in the International Builders Show (IBS) at Booth C3830 Central Hall and The New American Remodel (TNAR), both presented by NAHB and taking place simultaneously from Feb. 19 through Feb. 21, 2019.

The Gaggenau Experience at IBS

Inspired by the brand’s rich history, and highlighting Gaggenau’s newest innovations in coffee-making and refrigeration, an experiential lounge will immerse visitors into the culinary culture and three-century heritage of the world's most luxurious appliances. Visitors will be treated to a first taste of the brand’s special 1683 blend, named in honor of the year Gaggenau was founded, in collaboration with Portola Coffee Roasters. Gaggenau has sourced its special coffee blend from a roaster local to Orange County, California that shares the same degree of passion and dedication to achieve its exceptional quality of coffee.

In the lounge, Gaggenau’s 400 series fully automatic espresso machine highlights the brand’s attention to detail and commitment to coffee culture. Now available with fixed inlet water connection and for the first time, the addition of a drain, the fully automatic espresso machine allows for the preparation of every variation of espresso and milk-based drinks as well as the classic cup of coffee, warm milk and hot water for other beverages such as tea. Individual beverages can be personalized by choosing the grinding degree, coffee strength, water temperature, size and coffee-milk-ratio and saved for future enjoyment with the simple touch of the intuitive TFT control module.

Also on display, Gaggenau’s new 400 cooling series represents a shift to elegant and powerful design. The 400 cooling series consists of kitchen appliances pioneering the way for functional art that fits into the lifestyle of the discerning and cultured individual. Combining modularity with seamless integration, these sculpted appliances redefine the landscape of the home kitchen. An expanse of handleless doors with individual furniture fronts, stainless steel or glass doors for wine climate cabinets, presents a statement in any private kitchen.

With the new 400 cooling series opening system, even the heaviest of doors can be opened with a single push, making the need for a handle obsolete. The doors open to reveal a complete stainless steel interior with dark anthracite anodized aluminium elements. Imperceptible clear glass shelving and solid aluminium door racks are further complemented by a stunning atmospheric glow from the placement of warm white, glare-free LED lights. The 400 series wine climate cabinets feature up to three independently controlled climate zones which can also be adjusted via the newly installed intuitive TFT display, so that part of your wine collection can be stored in cellar-like conditions while bottles that should be enjoyed in the moment, can be served on demand.

The Heart of the Home at TNAR

Uniting people with a passion for fine living and timeless design, Gaggenau is proud to sponsor The New American Remodel for the first time. Designed by Elma Gardner, Owner and Principal, CID, CKD, CBD of By Design, the kitchen is outfitted with Gaggenau’s cutting-edge, professional-grade appliances and features the latest product introduction – the reimagined full surface induction cooktop.

Gaggenau believes that the kitchen is the heart and soul of the home and the products that you choose perform perfectly and integrate seamlessly. Beautifully crafted and professionally capable, Gaggenau introduces the next generation of its original full surface induction cooktop. More than just a luxury kitchen appliance, this is a product that expresses no boundaries in the pursuit of culinary imagination.

Operated by a TFT touch color display that intelligently indicates the shape, size and position of the cookware; professional or dynamic cooking functions; cooking zones; heat settings; as well as a booster function are all easily selected at the touch of a fingertip. The cooktop’s boundless expanse of surface allows for up to six pans to be placed anywhere upon it, power levels seamlessly change as and when the pans are moved, a cooking sensor ensures pans don’t boil over and precise cooking is automatically achieved. Providing a creative space with few rules and minimal constraints, the home chef now has the freedom to create, host and enjoy culinary pursuits.

Throughout its 335-year history, Gaggenau has held a considerable role of cultural impact, first as an ironworks in the Black Forest and today, in a world where Gaggenau’s commitment to pure materials, exquisite craftsmanship and skilled production has redefined built-in kitchen appliances for the home and revolutionized culinary culture.
