CLEARWATER, Fla., March 13, 2019 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- The Way to Happiness (TWTH) Association Tampa Bay is hosting their Pre-Mother’s Day Family Activity Movie Night at the Osceola Courtyard on May 4th, 2019. Skipping the hassle of what gift to buy for mom, kids can make Mother’s Day crafts, such as potting flowers and decorating cards, right in the Courtyard. The agenda for the evening includes a family-friendly movie, petting zoo and bouncy house.
Mother’s Day will be celebrated in the United States on Sunday, May 12. The American Mother’s Day was created by Anna Jarvis in 1908 and became an official U.S. holiday in 1914. The Day involves presenting mothers and other influential mother-like figures with gifts and flowers. Family traditions also include giving mothers a day off from activities such as cooking and other household chores.
The Way to Happiness, authored by Mr. L. Ron Hubbard, contains 21 non-religious, common sense guidelines for making positive choices towards a happier life. With regard to the precept - Honor and Help Your Parents - Mr. Hubbard wrote, “In spite of all, one must remember that they are the only parents one has.
