Marrone Bio Innovations announces distribution partnership in Western Canada

TerraLink to Distribute Regalia Maxx Biofungicide in Western Canada

DAVIS, Calif., April 16, 2019 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Marrone Bio Innovations Inc. (NASDAQ:MBII) (MBI), a leading developer of biological crop protection and plant health solutions, today announced that it has appointed TerraLink Horticulture, Inc. (“TerraLink”) as a distributor of the Regalia® Maxx Biofungicide in Western Canada.

TerraLink has been a leading supplier of crop input products to Western Canada since 1973. Based out of Abbotsford, BC, TerraLink primary focuses on providing farmers, production managers and professional growers with a comprehensive suite of fertilizers, seeds, growing media, hard goods and crop protection products.

“We are pleased to announce our distribution partnership with TerraLink, which we expect to stimulate sales of our incredible Regalia Maxx Biofungicide throughout Western Canada,” said André Trépanier, director of marketing at Marrone Bio Innovations. “Now that we have received approval for our newly expanded label by the Canadian authorities, we are seeing a notable increase in grower inquiries due to its safety, crop quality and yield benefits as compared to existing chemical products. The expanded label also offers a unique value proposition to producers of medicinal plants in Canada, as it does not carry the same toxicity risk that traditional chemical pesticides do. We are looking forward to working with TerraLink to bring a new generation of sustainable farming practices to Western Canada,” concluded Trépanier.
