On 11 June 2019, AS Merko Infra, part of AS Merko Ehitus group, and Elering AS entered into a contract for the construction of Jäneda 110 kV substation.
The contract includes the construction of a 110-kV switchgear in Jäneda‘s new substation together with auxiliary and control systems. Works include the construction of a control building, bays for autotransformers and reconstruction of access roads.
The contract value is approximately EUR 1.3 million, plus value added tax.
The construction will start in June 2019 and the works are scheduled to be completed in November 2020.
AS Merko Infra´s is engaged in designing, building and setting up medium- and high-voltage substations, cable lines and other electrical installations.
