Moxian Announces Receipt of Nasdaq Notice of Deficiency and Regaining Compliance


Hong Kong, Feb. 08, 2022 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Moxian (BVI) Inc (“Moxian” or the “Company”) (NASDAQ: MOXC), an Internet media marketing services provider, today announces that, on February 7, 2022, the Company received a letter from the Listing Qualifications Staff (the “Staff”) of The Nasdaq Stock Market LLC (“Nasdaq”) stating that the Company no longer met the periodic filing requirement of Nasdaq Listing Rule 5250(c)(1) (the “Rule”) since the Company failed to file its Form 20-F transition report covering the transition period from October 1 to December 31, 2020 (the “Form 20-F”), which was due to be filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission by November 16, 2021. However, based on the filing of the Company’s Form 20-F on February 7, 2022, the Staff has determined that the Company complies with the Rule, and subject to the disclosure requirement of Nasdaq Listing Rule 5810(b) that the Company make a public announcement regarding the letter, this matter is now closed.
