NEW YORK, Jan. 11, 2023 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Priority Income Fund, Inc. ("Priority Income Fund" or the "Fund") announced today that the Fund, through its dealer manager Preferred Capital Securities, has raised over $250 million in the current common equity offering which includes $148 million of common equity in 2022, representing the highest annual total in the Fund’s history. Since inception, the Fund has raised $1.1 billion in cumulative capital (including commitments under the Fund’s credit facility).
The Fund focuses on providing investors with current income and long-term capital appreciation by investing in broad pools of senior secured and floating rate loans made primarily to U.S. companies.
Through December 31, 2022, the Fund has declared 35 quarterly bonus distributions in addition to 110 consecutive monthly base distributions, resulting in a total annualized distribution rate for R shares of 11.1%, based on the current class R offering price of $12.13 per common share.
